Anastasia has arranged a nice picnic at Long Beach, complete with a variety of fruits and cheeses. She selected some place far away enough from Los Angeles, so not have to deal with the daily drama that occurs in the larger city.

The weather was nice today too. She watched the waves, as she waited for Niverian to arrive. As she waited, Purple enjoyed the sunlight. Today she was wearing a sexy sailor swimsuit.

Once they get to this point in the water, Purple just leans back, allowing herself to get full emersed into the ocean. Just floating there for a while.

"It has been ages since I was at the ocean."

He goes underwater for a few moments, resurfacing beside her and sitting cross-legged on the ocean floor so that the water's about halfway up his torso, just letting the waves roll past him. "It's been awhile for me too," he agrees, smiling. "Last time I had the opportunity, I was... sixteen, I think? So five years ago."

She reaches out to wrap her arms around his neck, so she can continue to float, without moving away from him. The waves giving her the sensation of a relaxing massage.

"You will be able to come and visit more often now."

He gets his arms around her waist and leans forward to nuzzle her for a moment, smiling. "I will indeed," he agrees with a quiet chuckle. "We should definitely have dates here more often..."

"Anytime you want."

"Good to know..." he leans in for another kiss, gentle and slow. He generally prefers to save the more heated, passionate kisses for when they're behind closed doors, just the two of them.

He confuses her sometimes. He is controlled in most situations... even in situations when she struggles with her own desires. Her own passions.

"I could spend all day out here."

Some of it's a Chiss thing. 'Calm' and 'controlled' just come naturally to most of them, Niverian included. Though there are other reasons too, of course.

He smiles, nuzzling her again for a moment. "I don't see any reason why we can't," he replies with a quiet chuckle.

"Very true..." She gently pushes herself away from him. Floating in the water for a long moment.

He's a little disappointed, but he lets her, eventually shifting so that he's floating on his back too, closing his eyes for a moment, and letting the waves buffet him about a little.

After a moment in the shallow water, Anastasia rises and lets the water fall of her body. She can't stay in the water too long. Her cybernetics aren't affected by the moisture, but it is just still a strange foreign sensation. Not quite feeling the water everywhere on her body.

She returns to the blanket, smiling as she watches Niverian in the waves.

Niverian stays in the water a few minutes longer before returning to the blanket as well. "Well, that was certainly bracing," he remarks as he rejoins her, taking her hand and twining their fingers.

"You enjoyed yourself?" She smiles. He could have stayed out there longer, if he had so desired.

He could've, yes, but he prefers to spend as much of his time near her as he can. "Very much so," he replies, picking up his towel to dry off his hair, rubbing vigorously at it until it's not quite so wet. Of course, that results in his hair getting quite a bit more tousled than he usually allows it to, but for the moment, it doesn't especially matter to him.

She chuckles at the tousled hair. And reaches out to smooth it out a little with her fingers.

He grins when she does. "Thank you, dearest," he tells her, sitting back down next to her on their picnic blanket and leaning over to kiss her cheek.

She gently runs her fingers down his bare back. Smiling softly. "I love your blue..."

He keeps grinning, running his fingers through her hair. "I love your purple," he replies. "Hmm... blue and purple. Two colours that go very well together, no?"

"Well it does take blue... to make purple."

Another quiet chuckle. "So it does," he replies, giving her another brief kiss on the lips, and a few more on top of the first. "And red, too..." Which happens to be the colour of his eyes. The whole of both of his eyes, in fact, since Chiss don't have irises or pupils...

A soft moan escaped from the kisses. And she slightly scatches up his flesh...

"They are primary colors."

"They are..." he agrees, shifting a little closer, kissing her again, running a hand along her waist and hips.

She likes the feeling of his touch. And she shifts closer too. "You make me jittery sometimes."

He smiles against her mouth. "Am I making you jittery now?" he murmurs.

"Very much so. In a very good way."
