First date jitters

Purple stood infront of an open closet, tossing away selection after selection of tops and pants, blouses and shirts, and biting her lower lip nervously.

She was going on a date with Niverian (Cipher Nine), and she just wanted to look her best. And she had never had a real date before, so felt a little lost.

Finally, she selected a blue and black dress, and selected a few accessories like a half-dozen bracelets, her gloves, and a skull pin for her hair.

Then after finally feeling ready, Purple used her PINpoint and accessed the coordinates that Cipher Nine had sent her. She wasn't sure where she would appear... but she couldn't wait to see Cipher Nine again.

"Sounds like," he agrees. "Though we've still got plenty of time left on this one." He pauses to glance out towards the western horizon, where Alderaan's sun is starting to set, painting the sky in brilliant shades of red, orange, and purple.

She directs her attention the same way, giving a contented sigh at the beautiful sunset. And since he is seated close enough, she leans on him.

"Plenty of time..."

He slips an arm around her shoulder, holding her close against him, leaning his head gently against hers, only turning away for a moment to finish of the last off the wine in his glass. The lights from Castle Thul and the surrounding buildings drown out most of the stars that start to show up after the sun finishes setting, unfortunately, but some are still visible. More than would probably be visible in Los Angeles, since they're not currently in a big city, just in the vicinity of a castle and what amounts to the village housing the vassals of the lords in said castle. None of the constellations are the same, of course, but Niverian's more than used to seeing different constellations during every trip he takes.

When the sun sets, and the stars come out, Purple tilts her head to see those that are visible. It is difficult to see the stars in Los Angeles (especially after the Final Battle with the Senior Partners).

And she might not recognize any of the constellations, but she appreciates them all the same.

She tilts her head to look at Niverian, and gently guides his face towards hers with her hand. Then kisses him deeply.

((bed))

He smiles as he returns the kiss, leaning close and sliding his hand back into her hair again, eyes slipping shut after a moment. And this time, she's the one who gets to decide when the kiss is over.

((Sleep well!))

The kiss is long enough to express her passion, but not too long either -- since they are still in public after all.

And when the kiss is over, she just leans on him.

He spends a few minutes just enjoying the moment, making a small, quiet, contented noise, leaning his head against hers. After awhile, he asks, "You want to head back to the ship? Spend some... quality time together, just the two of us?"

"That would be nice." She smiles softly at him.

Niverian smiles back, asks for the cheque, pays for their meal (which is both the gentlemanly thing to do and also necessary, since Purple doesn't have any of his galaxy's currency), then rises from his chair, offering her his arm again. "Shall we?"

She takes his arm in hers. She still has butterflies, feeling nervous, but a happy nervous. And enjoys the walk back to the ship.

He walks close beside her, smiling the whole time, excited in several different ways. He's been with a lot of women over the years, mostly spur-of-the-moment, one-time... liaisons. Purple is the first women he's met that he's actually felt a real, emotional connection to, rather than just pure physical attraction and desire (though obviously he feels those things for her too)... the first he's thought he could have a lasting, long-term relationship with.

Once they're on the ship, he raises the boarding ramp to make absolutely sure they won't be disturbed. (Paranoia tends to become something of a reflex in the field of espionage.) Then he returns to her, stepping in close to her and kissing her again, quite deeply, one hand cradling the back of her head, the other resting on the small of her back. He's not sure what she'll be up for during the rest of their time together tonight, but whatever they decide, he'll probably be happy with it.

Purple returns the passionate kiss, wrapping her arms around his body. He is the first man that she has met that she has had a connection with, and this is why there are so many butterflies and nervous energy.

She does desire him, a lot... but at the same time she doesn't want to go too fast and ruin their connection. She is most happy taking one step at a time, and letting this relationship form on its own, without any pressure.

((fade to black?? your choice. I don't see her going 'all the way' the first night, myself. LOL))

((Sure. She doesn't strike me as the type to fall into bed on the first date either. So this seems like a good spot to leave off on this one :).))

Though I had an evil thought -- that for first-meeting with the parents, they could find her in bed with Niverian! LOL!))

((Well like I said, we can take some time to just do some plotting, for both April and Purple :). We have Voss coming up for Clark, April, and Cipher Nine, but I have to do Belsavis with Jack first.

Also, Ed's probably had enough time to make the move to DC with Kat and Bakura, so we could do a fluff scene involving a housewarming with April and the Kentlings :).

AND! April could come back to the Normandy with Clark and Cipher Nine to see if there's anything useful for Watchtower there. Clark-mun and I already discussed it, and Shepard wouldn't mind them coming to take a look at everything, though we also agreed that Cipher Nine would need to be there to make sure he can properly integrate anything based on the Normandy tech with the Imperial Intelligence tech he previously requisitioned for Watchtower.))

((Yep! If you've got some free time in a bit, I'll see if we can arrange a Skype voice-chat session with Clark-mun so we can all work on plotting things together. Both of us are online now, but we're also both playing SWTOR at the moment, so I'd like to at least wait until I've finished my in-game errands on Niverian.

...And also because my friend Alan is over, and while he does the Dreamwidth RP thing, he's not interested in doing multiverse stuff, nor in playing anything based on the Imperial side of the story. My roommate's fine with RPing on the Imperial side, but also not interested in the multiverse stuff, alas.

In the meantime, we can still plot via PM or comments. Or text chat. :)))
